LIBRARY UPDATE · CHINESEDRAMAS DESK
Three mystery choices, with episode lengths you can compare
The Long Night and The Bad Kids have 12-episode iQIYI guides; Mysterious Lotus Casebook has 40.
If you want a shorter episode list, the official iQIYI pages give The Long Night and The Bad Kids a 12-episode total each. Both are identified as 2020 series, and both sit in the provider’s crime and mystery categories.
Mysterious Lotus Casebook is a longer option: its official page identifies the 2023 series and lists 40 episodes, with mystery and wuxia categories. That gives you a useful format distinction before opening trailers or scene clips.
These are provider-listed episode totals, not running-time estimates or a promise of free playback. This library update checks the official guides without recaps or plot revelations; use each provider link to confirm access where you watch.
